Beyond Trust Screen Sharing is a service which allows our Fan Support team to view a fans mobile phone or computer screen. This will be particularly helpful when fans maybe struggling to process something through their online account as our Fan Support agents will be able to view the fans screen and guide them to the correct place on the website or app.
‘View Only’ mode is the only mode available whilst participating in a screen sharing session. This means our agents will simply be able to watch, and not control a fan’s screen. This mode is more secure for Fans and Fan Support Co-agents to ensure they only access content they should see such as the official Man City website or a Fans Man City account.
We will be using BeyondTrust remote screen-sharing software to assist fan’s more effectively. This secure session will allow us to temporarily view their screen, with their permission, to resolve their issue. Please click here for our step-by-step guide.
Our fan’s privacy and peace of mind is our number one priority. Therefore, please see important information below:
- Screen Content: Fans are advised to close or minimise anything on their screen that they do not wish to share or have recorded.
- Secure Session: All sessions are conducted securely.
- Data Retention: Any data recorded during the session will be automatically deleted after 60 days. However, should fans wish to have this deleted sooner they can request this, and we will do so. If a fans phone auto locks during the session, it will disconnect the recording.
