We understand that sharing personal information is important, so the process has been designed to be secure and private. The verification journey uses secure technology provided by Veritran, our Official Account Verification Partner. The technology is hosted in a Manchester City-controlled environment accessible only to Manchester City.
Once verification is complete, all uploaded ID images and selfies are deleted immediately. To help prevent duplicate accounts from being created, we retain a secure, unique and unreadable code derived from the selfie used during verification for as long as you maintain an active relationship with the Club. This code cannot be used to recreate your original image or selfie and is used solely for identity verification and account protection purposes.
