What is the City in the Community ticket donation scheme?
It's a program that allows Season Ticket Members to donate their match ticket refund to City in the Community (CITC), Manchester City's official charity. This helps support programs that empower healthier lives through football across Greater Manchester.
Who can donate their ticket to City in the Community?
Only Season Ticket Members are eligible to donate their tickets, and only for up to 12 selected matches during the 2024/25 season.
Which matches can I donate to City in the Community?
Once the 2025/26 fixtures have been announced, we will confirm which matches can be donated to City in the Community.
When can I donate my ticket?
Donations must be made at least 7 days before the respective matchday.
What happens after I donate my ticket?
The ticket is listed for resale approximately 3 weeks before matchday. Another supporter can then purchase it, and the value of your ticket will be donated to CITC. You will also receive a confirmation email.
Can I change my mind after donating my ticket?
No. Once you donate your ticket, the action is irreversible. You cannot reclaim the ticket or attend the match.
Does donating count towards my minimum Season Ticket usage?
Yes. Donating your ticket refund counts towards your required match attendance as a Season Ticket Member.
How do I donate my ticket?
- Log in to your account here.
- Click 'Tickets' from the menu.
- Select the match you'd like to donate and click 'DONATE'.
- Review your seat details and value, then click 'OK' to confirm.
- Your donation is now complete, and you’ll receive an email confirmation.
What if I already listed my ticket for resale but want to donate instead?
- If your ticket hasn't sold yet, you can cancel the resale by:
- Logging in here.
- Clicking 'View Ticket Exchange'.
- Clicking 'Cancel resale request'.
- Then follow the donation steps.
