Following conversations that have been taking place since the draw in August, the Club are implementing additional ticketing measures in general admission and hospitality to reduce the risk of away fans in home sections of the Etihad Stadium.
This vigilant approach follows months of discussions since the draw with Greater Manchester Police and all relevant parties.
To buy a general admission ticket for the match, Cityzens Matchday and Junior Members (as of Wednesday 27th August 2025) must have purchased a ticket for 3+ home matches at the Etihad Stadium.
You can find the match criteria here and hospitality criteria here.
Any ticket purchaser found to have played a role in allowing an away fan into home sections will be subject to a stadium ban in line with the Club’s sanctions and bans policy.
Safe ticket buying
Make sure you buy through the Manchester City website or use official channels listed on our website.
Be cautious of ticket listings with no seat details or incorrect stadium areas, speculative tickets on the secondary market where the seller does not yet possess the ticket and fake profiles claiming to be Manchester City fans.
If you have purchased a “ticket” from an unofficial source, or see them on sale, please fill out this form so we can investigate it.
