We are updating the titles of our current level, block, and row numbers as a result of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion.
Season Ticket Members will continue to enter the Etihad Stadium via the same turnstile, travel to the same level and then find their way to the same seat.
The only change will be that the numbers outside the levels, blocks and rows will be visually different.
This change is the consequence of the Etihad Stadium’s expansion and the introduction of a new single upper tier, as well as new hotel and commercial space, and the need to ensure consistency across all levels of the stadium for all fans.

Why are the changes being made?
As a result of the North Stand’s expansion, we have been required to make some updates to stadium signage and wayfinding to be in line with the recommended health and safety guidance. These changes are visual only and do not affect your seat location or how you move around the Etihad Stadium.
What are the changes to Levels?
We’ve updated the names of the stadium levels:
- Level 0 – previously Level 1
- Level 1 – previously Level 2
- Level 2 – previously Box Level
- Level 3 – remains unchanged
What are the changes to Block labels?
Block names now reflect the level they are located on. For example:
- Block 122 (previously on Level 1) is now Block 022 (on Level 0)
- Block 236 (previously on Level 2) is now Block 136 (on Level 0)
- Blocks in Level 3 remain unchanged
Refer to the stadium map for more details.
What are the changes to Row labels?
Rows are now labelled using numbers instead of letters. For example:
- In Level 1 (previously Level 2) and Level 3,
- Row A is now Row 1
- Row X is now Row 21
- In Level 0 (previously Level 1),
- Row A is now Row 4 – this is due to some blocks having Pitchside seats which start at row 1. This labelling ensures consistency across the Stadium.
- Row X is now 24.
